Just finished reading 16th book on famine, going straight to another. Many lessons:

1) None of these famines sneaked in. All famines I have studied came in beating a gong. Yet most people were unaware until the famine was in their own kitchen. That said, some famines come in relatively suddenly, but still with much warning, such as war famine 1944-45 in Netherlands called Hongwinter. Or today in Ukraine. There was plenty of warning and still is but the famine is forming. Generally speaking, flash to bang is very long and often if not typically measured in years. For instance, the current global famines are beginning now — but from my many windows will estimate they will not hit truly hard until 2023-2024. We see canaries like Sri Lanka popping off now. When I was in Sri Lanka, the island was a land of abundance. Inexpensive food bountiful. Now there are reports gangs are raiding and burning homes of the rich.

2) People tend to say, “If he (Mao, Stalin, etc) only knew what was happening, he would fix this.” And they write letters to nowhere.

3) Many if not most deaths come from plague such as Famine Fever, or exposure as people migrate or burn their homes to stay warm or use their mud homes (as in Mao’s famine) for fertilizer.

4) Flash to bang from price increases, to shortages, to hunger, to actual famine, typically is measured in months or years. Most people never see it coming. They just don’t. And even after it’s over, they never really figure out what just happened, if they survive. They know they ate a lot of mud, tree-bark, and neighbors. There is another flash to bang inside the food crisis and that is plague such as Famine Fever (such as typhus and relapsing fever). Other problems such as cholera. These are extremely deadly but are like marked minefields. If you know what causes this — and we do — and walk around the minefield, you can easily avoid the cholera, Famine Fevers, etc. (But then of course comes Pfizerpox dressed like a monkey — incredible information war). Just knowing the dynamics of famines increases your survival chances by 95% (my guess), and by seeing the red skies at morning and fixing the ropes and sails, you will get through and become a teacher like our grandparents were after they survived so much.

Endless lessons, such as with Pandemic. Famine with a Thousand Faces. Famine, as with its dance partner pandemic, are not mysterious. It’s all written down. We know mostly how this forms and plays out.

After reading dozens of books on Pandemic, the pfizerpox thing is not hard to map in general terms. The enemies have ‘predicted’ the monkeypox, etc. These all are part of their war against the serfs.

Have you noticed how the bullshit race card has reached its credit limit? The card gets tossed back in their karen faces. I no longer care about common ground and that clears all confusion and creates a feeling of release. Time spent arguing is time wasted. Just win. To win, first survive.

People who study and prepare the ropes and sails can move right through this thing and even come through better off than they went in. This will last for years.

But look, squirrel! UFOs! We are not buying the distractions.
